Hola chavales, cuánto tiempo sin veros, que llevaba mucho sin actualizar! (por cierto, hay NUEVA ENCUESTA). Pues hoy lo voy a hacer y con una cosa que realmente me ha impactado. Resulta que estaba hoy navegando (o más bien nadando como un cachalote) por "el interné" buscando cosillas sobre Wavelets para mi proyecto, y me he encontrado con algo asombroso. Vosotros creeis que hay telecos frikis, que se encierran y estudian sin parar, o que se construyen sus cacharrillos, sus IPhones y sus cosas, pero lo más friki que he visto en mi vida es esto: una poesía dedicada al reino de las transformadas de Fourier. Sí amigos, es cierto, así que si estais preparados para tal desafío, leed las siguientes líneas:
One day in a land far away
Some mathematicians at play
Found a transform of convenient form
The basis of physics today.
Convolving would wreck people's brains
Still the advent of Fourier domains
for convolving in one
means multiplication
in the corresponding domain.
Got trouble with an ODE?
Fourier transforms will set you free
When once you would cry,
You now multiply,
by a constant times the frequency.
Fourier transforms backwards and forth
